Von Monforte, entweder via der N120 Abfahrt Canabal oder direkt über die LU3201.
Von O(u)rense auf der N120 Abfahrt Canabal (vor Monforte). Durch Sober fahren in Richtung Gundivos (An der neuen Farmacia links).
Die Strasse knickt nach rechts ab (Nach dem Möbelgeschaeft Maymar) dann immer geradeaus. Es kommen Schilder Proendos, Linaran immer geradeaus die Strasse wird auch schmaler. Nach einer kleinen Brücke kommt ein kleines Schild Mer, hier nach rechts abbiegen. Sie erreichen einen kleinen Platz und wir empfehlen hier erstmal zu parken, da der Zugang zu Casa de flores sehr, sehr schmal ist. Hupen und wir kommen Ihnen entgegen.
Eine Alternative in Sober ist die Strasse nach Doade (Canon do Sil). Von dieser Strasse gibt es zwei Abfahrten nach links. Wir empfehelen die zweite, da die erste über Froxan eine sehr schmale Stelle hat. Sie kommen ebenfalls an einem kleinen Platz an und auch hier empfehlen wir erstmal zu parken.
Egal von welchem Platz, gehen Sie erstmal geradeaus und biegen in die erste Strasse ein. Einfach folgen und um eine Ecke sehen sie die grüne Tür zu Casa de flores .(Nr 73), weiter am Ende hinter dem Tor sind wir zu Hause.

By Air:
Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) is the main international airport in this region. Alternatives are Vigo (VGO) with internal flights or Porto (OPO) in Portugal again with international flights.
From the UK Ryanair flies regularly - Stansted daily - Liverpool summer only
From Germany AirBerlin flies via Palma Majorca and Ryanair from selected airports.

By Rail:
Renfe is the Spanish national railway. Monforte de Lemos or if you require a hire car Ourense are both on direct overnight or full day trains from Madrid and Barcelona. From other cities you may have to change at Palenca.
Tip: As nowadays all air tickets are one way, why not fly into Madrid stay a day or two and take a train to us. Than take a train to Barcelona stay a while and fly back.
By Car:
From the UK ferries to Bilbao or Santander leave from Portsmouth - Bilbao (longer) or Plymouth - Santander (shorter but only in summer) (check Ferry details here). Bilbao to us is about a 6 hour drive (4 hours on motorways). Santander is about 30 Minutes closer to us.
Dover to Calais and than taking the costal motorway through France is another alternative. We recommend to take an evening ferry and stay in Calais and Bordeaux on the way.
From Germany it is a long drive. Duesseldorf to us is about 2000Km.

Other information:
Car hire is available at Santiago airport (Yes, they are open to meet incoming flights) and the closest to us is Ourense train station (sometimes spelled Orense). Have a look on Departures Arrivals Car Hire for a good deal.
The St. James' way or el Camino de Santiago has many starting points. To obtain "The Compostella" a minimum of 100Km need to be walked (or 200Km by bicycle).
A potential starting point to do this is Sarria a small town between Monforte and Lugo. For more details check WikiPedia St. James way
