Size matters – Being tall can be expensive

This is not meant in any way derogatively or insulting but at least here in Galicia the average person is not very tall. One realises this when trying to buy mattresses (“colchones”) and laminate frames.

Finally – Visible progress in April – Poco a poco

The sheer size of the property and a lot of issues needing to be tackled in parallel made visible progress very slow.

Quick break – Wedding in Czech Republic

So we had a quick break. A couple of days in the UK and than for a week to a wedding in Benishov near Prague in the Czech Republic.
We had a great time and guess what we brought back?
Nice window handles which will make perfect door handles for our little renovation project.
