Mañana – Second part takes it’s toll

The second part of the house takes it’s toll. So after a full day’s work there is always mañana to write the blog…….
 
So above is a glimpse of the on-going transformation. Whilst this is being done, we also managed to clear the yard (with help!) and the alpendre (barn) is nearly usable again.

When we arrived at the house on the first morning of our future life – we still loved it.
All of it. All the cobwebs, all the junk, the lingering smell of the woodworm treatment and the long walk from one end to the other.
