Contrary to others like France and Germany here in rural Galicia we got a way lightly.

Total tranquility – A first report on some typical noises in Mer

So we are in our new house for about three weeks and thought to give a noise report:

As no HGV can get near our house the only road noise is the odd car, neighbours tractor the horn when the bread van comes round and on Wednesdays a different honk from the fish monger.

Spain calling – the cheaper way(s) – sorry Telefonica

It is a bit inconsiderate of friends and family not having moved to Spain as well. One realises this when wanting to stay in contact and reaches for the phone. Telefonica who kindly activated the land line (the one we bought with the house attached) has no qualms to milk the desperate.
