We took an early morning flight to Trujillo (1h). Braving the wall of taxi drivers we arrived at our rather spartan abode for the next two nights.
Chan Chan is a 20 hectar site of palaces, that after a kings death became temples – early up cycling. The new ruler started a new palace.
- Trujillo also features a 1,8Km long mosaic wall. Depicting the history of Peru. It’s a mind blowing walk and still in progress.
There is also a cute botanical garden the perfect play ground for Barbara.
