Castro Caldelas is a municipality an a small town in the province of Ourense, in the Galicia region of northwestern Spain.
From Castro one can go on to Monforte via Doade or visit the sky resort of Mancaneda.
Its area is 87,6 km² and in 2005 the total population (municipality and town) was 1,769 (INE 2005).
It has nice old town, with a castle that can be visited.
