5am local time we arrive in Lima. Cold!! Passing through immigration and arrival – a breeze – visa for 90 days – all the preps paid off.
Thank`s to the friendly taxi driver we got to know all about the weather straight away. Morning = cold/cloudy – afternoon = sun/warm. “It never rains in Lima” according to him. It is surrounded by a desert or the pacific.
Our house is colourful – so we found it – to the amazement of our driver – right within the modern skyscrapers. Guess which one is ours.
